US States in checkout

Really fed up with the US States thing in checkout. It must be the single most stupid thing in Express. Customers have to select "other" after trawling through US states.

At best it is irritating for UK / European customers, at worst, it is losing me customers that get confused by it.

Can someone tell me when it can be removed or at least why it is still there? There must be a good reason.

Come on Actinic, I think another upgrade is long overdue, that wish list of yours should be half a mile long by now!

My site hasn't gone live yet, but i have had a few mates try out my online shop to see what they think. Every single one of them has said that the US states thing would put them off using the site.:mad:

To be honest if this is not cleared up soon i will seriousely consider canceling my subscription and going somewhere else, i can't afford for potential new customers being put off by this, first impresions count after all!
