Hi, I am doing a newsletter, I will have a textbox at the main page for customer to key in their email address, then the email address will then add to persons.csv. How can this be done? Or is there is better alternative? Thank in advance.

hi, I am able to se the software, but customer have to checkout in order for me to have their email address. I am thinking if it is possible to get customer email address at the index page if they want to subcribe to our newsletter.

You could talk to your webhost about whether they have 'formmail' enabled on their web sites. This will enable you to create your own custom form within the Primary template(s) that people can enter their email address into and it will then be emailed to you.

There will be no way to get this address into 'persons.csv' though unless the customer checks out and their details are downloaded as an order within Actinic.

Hi Chris, my webhost said that they dont not provide, i have to design it my self. Do those formmail downloaded from the net be used? Allow customers to enter their email address then the email address will then sent to me will be more than enough for
If yes, how am i going to start? Thx
