VAT number on invoice

I've noticed that my VAT number is not displayed on invoices printed from catalog. How can I make it appear ?

In order for the VAT number to appear, you need to make sure that your VAT number is in View|Business settings| Company/Contact and in the area where it reads, Registration Information in the field; 'Tax1 Description'.


This information will then appear in your invoice under your comapny address.

I have set my business settings as suggested in this thread but the Vat No appears in the middle of the page rather than next to the Description.
Can you please advise?

Unfortunately I am not able to place an order on the site to be able to see the receipt page and the display. Can you put up a screen grab of the receipt page to show us what exactly is happening with the VAT number.

Thanks for the infor Menar, I had the same problem and your advice fixed it. One question tho' I have added "VAT No. GBxxxxxxxx" for our vat no in the Tax 1 description and then entered our VAT number without the GB in the TAX 1 number; where is the Tax1 number used?
