I'm having a 'hair tearing out day' today.
See - http://www.famousbeds.com/acatalog/Divan-Beds.html
If you view in FF, everything appears to display OK.
If you view in IE 7 the main bulk area drops below the left floated column.
I've looked and looked, but cannot see where the width is that prevents it from nesting in properly. Anyone with any ideas, please!
It's a design very much in progress at the moment.
Regards,
David

Hi All,
Seems to me that I've been scratching my head for the past few hours and threaten it with you lot on Actinic and it clear up. Confused or what! I've just cleared the cache on IE7 and it seems to be alright at my end now.
Latest news - just received an email from my hosts to say that the server is unstable and they are going to migrate all my sites to a new location. Could it be this?
Will have to wait a while (24 hours or so) until the move has taken place and the dust settles.
Thanks for your time chaps and of course Tracey!!

Well, what a difference a day makes!
Back to the problem of yesterday. I have moved the site to a new server and all the problems of yesterday have returned!
If anyone can spot the deliberate mistake I will be eternally grateful.
It is as originally reported - OK in FF but dear old IE is having none of it.

David :(

Hi, I have just ran you page complete with css files in dreamweaver. Previewing in IE7 it seemed fine so it may well be a server problem!

Fergus,
Are you some sort of magician? I've tried this resolution and by gawd, it works. IE still makes a cod's ear of display, but with some tweaking should be able to get something acceptable!
Thanks very much for the help!

Speak too soon and it comes back and bites you!!
My client is on IE6 and, of course, the site does not display OK in that. I will have to replace my IE7 with 6 and start testing. But, in the meantime, if anyone has IE6 and also has an idea why it isn't playing ball, I'd love to hear from you.:D

Make sure the size you include into actinic, is 8 less than the size the area has to play with. i.e. if area is set to 558, then set actinic to work with 550. Section and product widths should be set to 100%.
I do this on every store and it works across all browsers, must be a sizing/styling issue your end.

I'll certainly give this a go.
Thanks very much Lee!
Might save me buggering about with IE6!
