View Full Version : Help with email confirmations etc needed urgently

Hi All,
I have recently stopped getting email confirmations when new orders are placed.
Also customers are not getting their confirmation emails either.

Here is my setup:
Catalog 6.1.3
Hosting by oneandone
I am using normans patch which allows you to use sendmail rather than smtp server.

Every thing had been working just fine untill recently and I cannot think of any changes that may have caused it to stop.

Sending emails via the order manager still works with-out fault.

I just dont know where to start in order to track down the problem.

Could somebody please suggest things to check or error files which need looking at etc.

Obviously (or maybe not) I have double checked all settings in catalog are as they should be.

Any help is very much appreciated

Check your ISP is not blocking the server ports.
They quite probably are blocking port 25

I was just typing a reply as yours came through.

Email comfrimations have started working again.:confused:

Sods law I suppose, I have been without the emails for about a week and as soon as I put it to the board, well you know the rest.
