Sections with Components - Refreshing

I have some sections whose products are purely components from other sections.

I have noticed that each time I do an update, all the sections with components are refreshed (Uploaded). Is this a design issue or have I forgotten something?

That's an odd one. I can't recreate it here. I have created a section which only contains products that have components that point to other products in the store - but Actinic handles it normally.

The only thing I can suggest is go a 'Web | Refresh Website' and see if this satisfies Actinic's need to upload these sections.
