Is there a version of outlook that I can buy that allows me to access it from a different pc? It would be great to access my calendar/emails at home. I've searched the microsoft site - but can't seem to find anything.

George is referring to Thunderbird, I think
I haven't really used it but I believe it could do what you want.

the thing you're looking for is called 'exchange server'. and its part of the microsoft back office tools.

however, its expensive.

your solution would be to have thunderbird leave emails on the server. configure the server to delete the emails only if you delete them in your client. this way, multiple clients can download the emails. a sort of poor mans shared server.

you can also use 'lightning' plugin to access a calendar. importing from outlook is a snap. lightning can also use google calendars, hence: shared calendar.

if its outlook (full) NOT the outlook express, then simply access the personal folders over the network.
do it frequently - alternatively then you need to look at one of the remote control software progs - been talked about many times on the forum, my favourite is UltraVNC
