Importing csv; missing Product Reference field in Actinic

I am importing a csv file and for some reason Actinic fails to carry a 'Product Reference' field for me to export into from the Product Reference column in the CSV file. Is there anyway i can do this manualy i.e. create it in Actinic or should i look for an alternative or have i missed something in my design?

Check you've not got "Auto Generate Product References" set. It's in View / Business Settings / Options. I think this needs to be unchecked before you can override on the import.
