Design Text changed

Hi,

I have installed the Vervion 851, and imported a site built with the version 7.

I have noted that all the "prompts" that I have created in the version v7 in the "Design Text" have not be updated with the Actinic v8. I just find the " default prompts" !!

Could you tell me how to import my "old" prompts?

When you did the upgrade to version 8 it should have come up with a message saying:

"Actinic found that some design texts had been modified by the user in the previous version. A log file has been generated containing the original and changed values. Please check this file and apply any changes you still need manually." and then it gives you the address of the log file of the changes so you can manually reinstate them such as:

The log file is:
C:\Program Files\Actinic v8\Upgrader\Site1\DesignTextUpgrades8.5.1.0.0.0.HFUA.log.

Did you get this on doing the import?.

Mind you this is for manual comparison and some design texts have been changed or removed between the two versions.

Yes, I see it in the following directory C:\Program Files\Actinic v8\Upgrader\Site1\DesignTextUpgrades8.5.1.0.0.0.HFUA.log.

And now? What have I to do? :)

Open that file in something like Notepad and it will detail for you the changes made so you can go into the Design Text menu and reinstate them where possible.
