Pinbrook, but I'm biased because I have one and I haven't looked at any others apart from rackspace, who still haven't called me back ... it's been 3 years now.

I haven't used Rackspace personally, but had to speak to them for a client when something wasn't working on the server and their response times and technical knowledge was second to none. Makes a refreshing change from some companies I have spoke to where the technicians clearly did not have enough experience.

Depends on your budget, you'll probably find some cheaper than that but still good customer service.

Funny - everyone you speak to raves about Rackspace - must be for a reason. After speaking to the sales guy I got put through to one of their Linux server guys who is obviously from a future planet...

We use Netbenefit (I believe Actinic do too!) and they have been excellent for the last 8 years, couple of small glitches but apart from that a great service.

There is quite a lengthy and in depth thread on dedicated servers

Found here (http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=15984&highlight=dedicated+servers)

Might be worth a quick read

We have a 123-reg dedicated server, at under £500 per year. Never had any downtime and is much faster than our previous shared server.
