shopping Cart Adjustments

Hello,

I am trying to resize the shopping cart & checkout areas with some success.

A couple of questions;

Is there an easy way of indentifying which layouts I need to be editing, I have managed to adjust the width of the initial cart page but need to do the same for the next checkout page but am not sure which layouts I should be changing? If I could be sure which layouts these were then that would make like much easier.

Secondary, I don't seem to be able to view the effects of the changes I am making in the shopping cart area without uploading and viewing on line, is there anyway of previewing changes locally which I have missed?

Check the layouts set for the site in Settings > Site Options > Layout tab, the layouts under "Site" are the main ones used. You can then edit these either via Design > Library > Layouts > Web Page Outer Layout or via the Design tab's select page type.

You can review the Cart pages by clicking on the Design tab (between Content tree and Orders tabs) and just below the tabs select page type to view the Shopping Cart and Checkout stages. You can preview these offline and it will show dummy content, you can't test this properly until you upload as the scripts need to run.
