Actinic 4 snapshot problem

Hello,

I am trying to move a site from the computer I am using which has windows 98 on it to a new computer running windows xp pro. When I try to take a snapshot of the site I get an error message which says:

Errors
(File ExportSite.cpp, Line 1225) - There were no registered sites available to take a snapshot from.

I wasn't the one who created this site, I took over for the web designer who did and I am still learning about actinic. Can someone please help me out here by telling me what this error indicates and how do I go about correcting it to make a snapshot to move the site.

Or is there another way of moving the site entirely?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Snapshot in V4 is a little flakey. Your safest bet is to take a copy of Site1 and copy that over instead. Don't forget to copy images over separately if they don't live in the site1 folder

So in other words I can just move the folder of site 1 over to the new computer in the actinic folder? Thanks.

Yep a straight copy should do it, make sure both PCs have the same Version and patch.

I would also take a copy in notepad of the housekeeping/security keys.

ie copy keys from old PC to notepad, after you have copied site1 into new PC, go to housekeeping security and paste the keys in.
