View Full Version : AVS Failure PSP Pending Digital Download Autoship ...

Hi All,

I've had a few orders go into PSP Pending. All because they fail the AVS check where only Post Code matches.

I am using Digital Download and set to Autoship, and it looks like my products are shipping regardless of whether my clients Card Processing information is correct?

Now, I do Accept the AVS failure and get the payments later, but I have 3 questions:

Q1. What if I really get A fraudulent transaction. Shouldn't Actinic not ship when I get PSP Pending, even though on Digital Download its set to Autoship?

Q2. Also, will HSBC feed back to Actinic when the payment goes through and therefore update my order to Full Payment Recieved at a later date?

Q3. If the answer to Q2. Is no, how do i correctly update the order in Actinic to reconcile it to Full Payment Received?

OK, I have discovered something, which may reolve my questions and wondered if anyone can corroborate this.

When I get a PSP Failure my products do not Ship.

One of the customers contacted me and asked where their products were. the reason why I was confused is because Actinic says "Shipped" :confused:

Q. Why does Actinic say shipped when it isn't, when I get a PSP Failure

It shouldn't say shipped when it hasn't. The order should go into psp pending with items marked as not shipped.

To complete the order (when payment is taken) you should have to mark the order as paid (Progress and payments>view payments> new entry> OK) and then ship the item (however you do that with digital downloads).

However, i'll have to look into the Shipped thing a bit closer?
