Okay, heres the deal.

You may invite eight people in total.

One from Actinic.

One from this Community.

And up to six others. They may be real or fictional, alive or dead... just anyone really.

Oh, and why you have chosen them.

EDIT: Extended to EIGHT people in total.

This is tricky ... 6 isn't very many people

Tracey from here ... she would make it a nice lively dinner party.
Eric ... he is from Actinic, he loves food, even veggie food
Kate Bush ... she needs a good telling off for lyrics on her comeback album
Stephen Donaldson .. because I like his books
Paul McCartney .. because he is vegetarian
Mika ... because he appears to be completely bonkers
Peter Gabriel ... no reason, just want him there.

and we would eat ...

Tricolour salad
Feta cheese and spinach pie, with roast veggies
Creme Brulee with Raspberry sauce

George - For music chat
Chris Barling - Might as well have one of the top boys!
Bill Hicks - So I can ask him if he really regrets smoking now, and also cause he was a genius
Paul Newman - The Hustler is my favourite film
Dennis Potter - He would be fascinatiing
Jim Crace - cause I love his books
Jeff Buckley - Legend
Dervla Kirwan - Something Irish to look at, and she can describe our meal for us in her best Marks and Sparks voice!

Good call on Stephen Donaldson Jan, busy reading the new T.C.C at the moment!

2) Forum: Gabriel (mixing intersting cocktails and casually chatting about quantum string theories with......)
3) Elvis (circa 68 special comeback, who would crack up at.......)
4) Bill Hicks (we need an ascerbic voice like his in these times)
5) George Bush (Bill would need to see it/him to believe it)
6) The Queen (and/or Queen - Liz singing Bohemian Rhapsody after a few Gins! lol )
7) Charles Darwin (Again, re Bush - he would have to see it to believe it. Evolution - lol!)
8) Richard Dawkins (I'd introduce him to my paraniod alsatian Bert and ask him what the deal is with this Dog Delusion anyway!)

9).....
this could go on and on.
I want a fun dinner party, plus an intellectual dinner party plus a political dinner party, plus a musical dinner party.

Can I have a different list for each category?

ok..my list before I head home (to my beloved vodka..I mean, family :D )

1) From the forum, Darren B ..because he has become my best friend ( a rare soppy moment from me! )

4) Dumbledore - I really want to know if he was gay
6) Belle de Jour - interesting after dinner chat!

She is also very lovely - good choice.

I've swapped Tracey for Peter Gabriel now, I'm sure he is on this forum somewhere :-) He gets on well with Kate Bush, so I'm sure that will work.

Jan
