Can anyone tell me what 'control panel details' are?

I want to take a domain name that I had for Actinic Express and use it for my new Catalog site. I asked someone at Actnic about this and although they were very helpful, the terminology is lost on me.

In order to transfer your domain, you should have the control panel details with it, from when you signed up the domain, all you will need to do is point this onto your new host for the site when you get it up and running, and that will transfer it over to the new site.

Ok, sounds simple, but I don't know what he means.

Normally when you buy a domain you are given a control panel by the registrar so you can administer the domain.

Thus you log into the control panel and change nameservers to point at your new host.

what is the domain and whom did you buy it from?

Hi Pinbrook. When I signed up for Actinic Express I was asked for a domain name. I didn't necessarily buy it. It just came with Express. I wanted this,

www.ductstore.co.uk

so that's how it was set up.

How do I log into the control panel?
