Quickbooks Link Item type=service

I hope someone can help me with this problem.
I am trying to get Quickbooks 2003 working with ver 5 business.
After importing, the items are listed in Quickbooks as type=SERVICE and I need them to be STOCK PART.
Apparently you can't change the item type from SERVICE to STOCK PART.
For some reason it is assigned a type=SERVICE when the file is imported.
It would appear that because Actinic/Link doesn't specify an item type, that Quickbooks defaults to type=SERVICE.

I guess you are using the QuickBooks 2-way link as the 1-way link does not allow you to create products.

In the 'Products' tab in the 'Actinic to QuickBooks' part of Link, have you set up your products to go into 'Checking' and to be an 'Inventory Asset'?
