I had an email once which made me smile, it was sent from "Rat Heaven".

I recently got:

Subject: Happy Diwali
From: Pimpale Monali

randomly wishing "you and your family a very happy, dazling Diwali"

Love the name and subject. Also made me investigate and find out that Diwali (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diwali)is the Indian Festival of Light.
Still not sure why I am on their mass mailing list, but a nice sentiment all the same.

We utilise Sophos Security suite with their "Pure Message" Spam and virus filtering.
It gives reports on SPAM volumes and virus volumes.

We are currently seeing 75% of all emails processed are identified as SPAM. The figure is actually higher as there are the odd few that creep through the net. That said, it is one of the most comprehensive network SPAM/Virus utilities I have used and allows me to have all machines, including remote, roaming laptops to be protected and up-to-date.

but 75% ......!!! :o :(

What I don't understand is why they think I need to buy Viagra or need to increase the length of a part of anatomy I definitely don't have! :eek:
