"Store Page Views"

Hi can anyone tell me exactly what constitutes a 'store page view' and is there any way to get any kind of meaningful statistics with Actinic express?

I've got 1729 'store page views' - it would be really useful to know something about those 'store page views'.

Anyone else found anything out about stats and A.E.?

Hi Sam

As far as I am aware the "store page views" counter goes up everytime someone views one of your site pages, it does not matter if they have already viewed a page, navigate away from it to another one and then come back again(hope I've explained myself properly") it still gets incremented.

Please can someone on the forum comment on Sam's second question.

i dont use Express so Im no great expert on it but there was a thread last year where we were discussing how to get stats from Express and the general outcome was that you cannot. Google Analytics was the main one we tried to get in but it would not work because you cannot get to the templates - the only possible way was to add a fragment with the code to every page. Ok with a small site but a bigger one would have problems. I dont think we ever found out if there was a standard stats package fitted to Exprees eg AWStats as there is in most hosting packages.
