paypal or other free accounts

Hi

I have catalog 25 v6 form the cover CD of dot net. Is there a way I can use paypal as a payment method using this version.

If not can anyone recommend another good merchant account, the cheaper the better because I'm only selling between 5-10 items.

Any help appreciated

Hi Wayne,

Paypal can be used by going into the view | business settings | payment options then clicking on the dropdobox and selecting paypal - this is the case on the full version anyway and I assume it should be the same for the 25 product one!

Sadly though, in my experiance there is no such thing as a cheap CC payment provider!!

I've looked where you said and paypal is not in the list. Is there an update I can get that will allow me to use paypal?

Paypal was introduced to Version 6.1.0, the cover copy is a special build of v6.0.2. I'm afraid you cannot upgrade this .net copy to subsequent version of the software, therefore the solution (if you wish to use Paypal) would be to purchase Catalog

Paypal is free to install but not free to use - I think I pay about the same charges on paypal transactions as I do with worldpay give or take 1%.

The cheapest way to handle credit card payments is to get a merchant account and process the payments offline.
