Hi - I'm using navigation buttons, but as I add new pages, text link navigation buttons are added below the buttons.

I've searched through (I think) the templates etc but can't see how to remove the text links.

Help, Please - and apologies that's its so simple... James ;)

Hi there

To remove the text link you will need to go to "Advance | Template Manager"

When you go into Template Manager, if you are shown a picture view, please click on Change View to get the grey boxes

On this, simply click on the "MAIN" tab and click on a button that says Nav. Item

You will see notepad open with some html codes, simply comment out where it says "NETQUOTEVAR:NAVTEXT" to remove the text links out

This will just leave it with pictures

Kind Regards

Hi, Nadeem. I guess I wasn't clear - my fault. What I want to do is use the navigation buttons only , taking out the text links and the images.

On the template manager I have this

<!-- NavigationItem HTML begin -->
<!-- This file is used to build the navigation item markup. -->

NETQUOTEVAR:TEMPLATEBEGINXML
<A HREF="NETQUOTEVAR:NAVLINK" TARGET="NETQUOTEVAR:NAVTARGET" NETQUOTEVAR:MOUSEOVERCALL>NETQUOTEVAR:NAVIMAGE</A><br>
NETQUOTEVAR:TEMPLATEENDXML

<!--not used NETQUOTEVAR:NAVTEXT-->
<!-- This file is used to build the navigation item markup. -->
<!-- NavigationItem HTML end -->

Does what I want to do make sense? Or, do I have to remove the navigation buttons and revert to the section links?

Thanks, Nadeem - James

Hi James

If you want to get rid of the text, then a easier way would be to go to:

"Design | Options | Navigation"

Click on the button that says "Clear Description" to get rid of the text, the gif files should stay

Now preview the store. You should see the text link has disappeared

Kind Regards

Nadeem - Thanks. Why didn't I get that in the first place?

What's it like to know all things???

Best - James
