Configure website details, problem with proxy

I have just tried to run the 'Configure website details' wizard for the first time.

The wizard has a problem recognising my proxy setup, and comes back with the error message:

'The wizard is unable to establish a connection to the internet. Please tell the wizard about your proxy setup. The last error was: Unable to set the HTTP proxy username. (null)'

This is strange as I did give the proxy details.

Any ideas where I should look?

Did you try 'Use Windows Defaults'? What happened with that?

This EXACt thing happened to me....on you proxy server make sure that you ahve port 80 and 21 open both incoming and outgoing
