Using v4.00.7 I have used the hierarchary import wizard and this works great but when I go to update the actual site it freezes up. I have tons of products and when I remove move of them it works fine. Is there a limitation on how much I can upload to the server?
Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

There is no limitation within Actinic. It has been tested with 10,000 products. The limitation is probably with the server and you should contact your hosting company about this.
A way round it would be to delete most of your sections and refresh the site. Then un-delete a few sections and update the site (this will only update any changes (i.e. anything that hasn't already been sent up), then un-delete a few more sections and update the site again. Carry on doing this until all sections are un-deleted.

Thanks for the response!
I have tried what you suggested and still freezing up. Is it possible to upload these files manually? If I know what files or folders I can upload this might be a better solution. For example, if there is a certain folder that all I have to do is upload it to the same folder on the server.

My suggestion is to upload one section at a time. To do this, mark all sections for deletion apart from one and then upload. Then undelete the next section and click upload. And then the next and the next until all the sections are uploaded.

We figured the issue out. We reconfigured something in the registry, PassiveFTP. Works very well at the moment. Thanks to all that posted.
