Microsoft bids for Yahoo

It appears Microsoft have made a bid for Yahoo. I guess they have too really. MSN had never got anywhere with search and no-one seemed to be getting anywhere against Google.

Anything to up the competition is good, one main player is never good IMO as they get too cocky and start to think they can do whatever they want. SPP being a prime example.

Hmmmmm, i think it has to be a good thing, well to an extent but the problem comes if MS decide to use G as a model, i know they do stuff there own way but i have just started testign the adcenter and it pretty much follows the lines of the adwords.

the big problem is the uk is very G focused so maybe some hard earned cash will be spent on advertising if it becomes a reality.
