How do you delete a brochure homepage

Just what the title says.

I am currently using the borchure facility for the homepage of our site. However, I would like to start using a homepage that is seperate from Actinic Catalog.

The problem I have, is that I have several other borchure pages I would like to keep, but Actinic doens't seem to like the idea of me deleting the homepage when there are other borhcure pages existing.

Is there anyway round this?

If you remove the tick from 'Use as web site home page' inside the home page icon, the initial brochure page will just become the initial brochure page in the onsite ecommerce directory acatalog.

Hi Steve,

Tried this, but when I tried to update the site, Actinic returned this error:

Some duplicate HTML file names have been found and therefore the generation cannot continue.

The following brochure pages have the same page file name as other generated pages:
Brochure page PRAM CENTRE.co.uk - The site for Mamas & Papas, Maclaren, Britax, Silver Cross, Emmaljunga , Bebe Confort and much more!: page: index.html

Any thoughts?

An update.

I've managed to upload my homepage seperate from Actinic and have changed the Design Options|Misc.|Home Page Link to a URL and the homepage links within the Catalog are correct.

However, Im still left with this problem of the old brochure homepage still being there. Unchecking the box "Use as Website Homepage" on this page, still prevents me from updating the site with Actinic returning this error message:

"Some duplicate HTML file names have been found and therefore the generation cannot continue.

The following brochure pages have the same page file name as other generated pages:
Brochure page PRAM CENTRE.co.uk - The site for Mamas & Papas, Maclaren, Britax, Silver Cross, Emmaljunga , Bebe Confort and much more!: page: index.html"

I'm a bit confused, so your help is much appreciated.

You can change the name of your main brochure page by double clicking it and changing the value in the 'Page Filename' field.

Thanks for that Jan, obvious or what!

However, this still leaves me with the original problem, that I want this page deleted from Actinic.

You cannot delete the 'home page' - but once you uncheck the 'Use as web site home page' box, it will just act like a normal brochure page.

You just need to use this brochure page as your first brochure page in your set of pages.
