Hi,
I am trying to setup a shipping rule where only selected products can be shipped with a certain class e.g. Next day.
Normally, one would use a weight based calculation where the products not available for shipping in the class are given a false weight that is beyond the weights range.
However, I wish to apply a fixed per item charge for the shipping class as well, which could be done using categories.
Additionally, where a combination occurs, the class cannot be applied.
For example:
Product A can be shipped next day and must be charged at £3.00 per item
Product B cannot be shipped next day
If customer buys 2x Product A they can ship by Standard delivery or Next day delivery. Next Day delivery will cost an extra £6.00 (2x£3.00).
If customer buys 2x Product B they can only ship Standard delivery.
If customer buys Product A and Product B they can only ship Standard delivery.
I'm truly stuck, so any suggestions will be greatfully received.
Jon Whitby.
