View Full Version : Order made past its end

I am having a similar problem to some of the other users but the error message I'm getting is different and I'm only using Actinic on one machine.
There was a problem with the site which meant that I uploaded the missing ActinicShipping.fil file and it started working again. Now, however, when I try to download orders I get this error message:
"An attempt was made to acces this order past its end"
I click OK and then get the error message I've attached. The orders are coming in but the credit card details are missing, what do I need to do so I can see them again and can get my orders out the door?
Many thanks in advance

The error message you get is normally associated with Payment Service providers - but it sounds like you are not using a Payment Service Provider. Actinic is detecting the credit card part of the order is missing - and is misinterpreting that as an incomplete order.
Do you use a different machine to upload then to download? If so, then ensure that the details in 'Housekeeping | Security' are identical between the two machines.
If you just have one machine, then I would suggest removing all *.fil files from the 'SIte1' (or equivalent) folder on your PC, and also remove them from the 'acatalog' folder online. Then do a 'Web | Refresh Website'. This will take a while so you may want to do it last thing at night (or first thing in the morning).

Chris
We are just using one machine so we'll give what you suggested a try and keep our fingers crossed :)
I'll let you know how it goes.

I tried the refresh and it doesn't seem to replace the .fil files on the remote machine. Any ideas what's going on this is losing me sales :(

I've copied the .fil files which the program has generated onto the web server manually and I get some way into the ordering process but when I get to selecting a delivery country it and click next I get an error page which says:
A General Script Error Occurred
Error: Error opening configuration file ./acatalog/ActinicShipping.fil No such file or directory
Any thoughts?

I just managed to select a country fine. Are you still getting problems?
You had a problem with your network settings by the looks of things. Actinic does not look as if it had the correct path from cgi-bin to acatalog folder.

I got it working again by uploading an old file that I have saved from a backup but why is it that Actinic seems incapable of uploading all the files automatically?
Just seems odd.

What file was it you uploaded from the backup?
