General Discount Question

Does anyone have any advice on how to apply a general discount for special offers. (eg 10% off all orders this month). I have Actinic Business but don't wish to restrict this offer to just a few registered customers but instead make it available to the general public.

You could export your catalog to a csv, use excel to apply discounts to all of the prices and then import it again.

OR create a dummy account called SALE and tell people to log using this special account to receive a 10% discount.

If I create a dummy account and give everyone the login to it doesn't it mean that the invoice address is applied to every customer?

If you select the third option then they can enter their own address, a new copy of the address used for the order is stored with each order placed.

Have you got microsoft access?
Do you use a lot of component pricing?
