Hi Guys,
I have a photographer who wants an online store.
The problem I have is that the average wedding has 400 images and I have no quick way to enter these as products.
Does anyone have any suggests for an automated way of doing this?
Many thanks for your time.
Neil

Look in the help for flat file importing. Essentially you can create a spreadsheet containing the required fields and then import that into Actinic.

this might be very difficult in actinic.

how about people stealing the images? how will you protect them?
what about using digital download?

you'd ahve to specify every file, zipped up.

you'd need to watermark the images, to stop people simply stealing them.

Have to agree with Gabe, think you would probably be mental trying to do this with Actinic. You are probably better going for something like http://www.thirdlight.com.

Thanks for the reply Gabriel, watermarking the images is no problem for a photographer, its just a photoshop action.
The photographer is already with everybodysmile.co.uk but these services are fairly expensive. As more designer than techhie I guess I was hoping that maybe there is an excel macro or similar that would be able to import the thumbnail and image filenames to a file for easy importing to actinic.
Orders would be for prints rather than digital download.

Or, thinking a bit differently, what about something like a Lightroom (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshoplightroom/) and Lightroom Paypal Template (http://www.lightroomgalleries.com/site-news/lrg-complete-with-paypal/) combo?
