Breadcrumb link

Hi,

I have had this question in with support for 2 weeks but no reply as yet so i thought id ask the experts.

My home page breadcrumb - links to acatalog/index.html

Can I change this to link to a different page?

ie home>page2>page3 - the home link goes to acatalog/index.html but wish it to go to a different page. the other breadcrumb links are fine.

If i try and hard code the change all of the links change.

Can anyone help?

It will always link to the "Home" page and as you have the acatalogindex set as your home page it links there. To create a new (proper) homepage use the inbuilt homepage in the content tree by selecting the use as my homepage check box

I don't see why you cannot remove the standard actinic offering and insert your own. Show us what you have done and we can take a look and correct it for you.

v7 was not as compliant as v8/v9 - I think all the breadcrumbs up to the current page use the same template Act_ParentSectionsLink.html

ruralweb - I have another page set as the home page but breadcrumb home link automatically goes to top of content tree. I know in act v8 its easy to change but cant fathom it out. It doesnt look like actinic themselves know either.
