I have a Pearl 8100 that needs somewhere to live.
- Its the one with the little trackball thingy
- Its on Orange
- It's never been used
- Shiny and black
It has the box and the full compliment of charger and all sorts of mad stuff included.

I dont really want many coins for it, more like a cool gadget, or something by Sony Ericsson. I cant get my head around any phone interface thats not an SE.
Any takers?

but would a lime green 1st gen ipod mini be of interest, its got a brand new click wheel, and a new battery, although the battery only holds power for a couple of hours.

i'm crap at it, sadly. I used to have it on at rock nights sometimes, on the club TVs. Some of the people used to play it religiously, and i'v seen someone do 'Through fire and flames' IRL.
I had to stop playing, after I saw this:

See if you can swap it for a 1st gen iPhone - like many we are upgrading to 3G versions for £99, which probably leaves lots of 1st gen around looking for a use. It still works as an excellent Wifi browser, Youtube interface and 8Gb ipod without a SIM.

I just had a brain wave! Since i no longer use my old ipod mini as mp3, i could use it as a 4 gb backup disk, Cheers Gabe for reminding me to start using it again.

I remember the old HP21s - I had one for a while before getting my HP11C. I still use my HP11C and have done almost every day since I got it in 1981. Brilliant caculator and still going strong.

My weapon of choice in the 1980s was the HP12C, and you can still buy them......

I have a PSION Organiser 2 model LZ64 with 64 k datapack full of survey computations, far better than a HP21
Used to have a couple of HP45A in the good old days with card readers

Still have an original Casio FX-570 Scientific (23 years old) which is in regular use - works fine but is banana-shaped after the b******d Statistical Analysis Professor (no idea what he was called but "Git" will suffice) knelt on it trying to open a window. Git.
