View Full Version : Setting up Actinic for Free Delivery OVER £xxx ?

Can someone tell me how on v7 I can setup our website so that
if the total cost of the order is over £50 inc vat they get free delivery.

Am sure this is a simple setup on actinic?

Depends if you are shipping by weight or value currently?

The only way I could work out to do this was to have it as an order level discount. But it only works if you have a standard del charge.

We ship by weight as it allows us to prevent some products being shipped on express delivery etc. but we have a fixed shipping charge for standard delivery so I was able to knock this off as a discount for spends over £xx.

Can't you just tick the box marked 'free over' and enter a value?

I thought it just got more complicated if you have different shipping zones and didn't want them free.

Yeah have just seen this in the shipment settings.

That's what it's there for.

If you have any problems you can always undo it.

Sorry Gav, i had completely missed the fact that this was in V7 also, I thought that had come as part of the V8 shipping overhaul. You will probably find you need to put the net of vat figure in, not the straight £50.

Am about to set this up and test on our site.
if the total cost of the order is over £50 inc vat (for the goods) they get free delivery is how to setup what amount do I put into the box marked "free over" in the shipment settings?

£43.48 would be the amount i think as it goes in net of vat. If not then put £50.00.
