Hi Craig

When do you get this error message?
Is it when you are running actinic?

One thing i would check is the following:

1. Close Actinic
2. Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel
3. Adminstriator Tools
4. Double click on Double Source (ODBC)
5. Under DNS, make sure ActinicCatalog6 is listed here and ActinicSimpleShipping6

If there are not, then you will need to add it.
The following KB article will explain how to set the actinicsimpleshipping up

KB Article Link for Actinic SimpleShipping (http://knowledge.actinic.com/users/kadmin/cgi-bin/ss000007.pl?PRODREF=644&NOLOGIN=1&ACTINIC_REFERRER=http://knowledge.actinic.com/users/kadmin/acatalog/)

If it is listed here, then the following link is another version of Mdac and jet
http://support.actinic.co.uk/~nrsupport/fixed_jet.zip

Please could you download this, save it and extract to the desktop. Once this is done, close actinic, first install mdac_typ.exe and then jet.
Once this is done, simply shutdown and restart windows

Once windows has been restarted open actinic and see if you get the same error

Kind Regards

but have you tried a reboot of the machine, the error mentioned is a problem with microsoft, but also, if your machine thinks it has two databases open for whatever reason the error could also happen..

if still not working post back

Tried what you said

All showed fine under DNS. Tried a repair on the simple shipping MDB. Said repaired, still same problem.

Going to copy site 1 folder onto desktop, uninstall actinic then re install from disc and either import a snap shot or graft the old site 1 folder back in to see if this solves the problem.

If this fails, we shall try your zip file.

ps. this is sat on a server so we want to be careful not to disrupt any other programs.

Any comments from you would be grately appreciated
