Postage Charge

I noticed that when a customer adds a component, say they buy a clown costume and add

shoes
bow tie
nose

On checkout it does not seem to add postage costs for the component items only the costume?

Have i done something wrong here

Hi Paul

The components need to have a weight in order to incur additional postage costs. If you associate the component with a hidden product (done in the Component dialogue), you can enter the weight in the weight field for that product and it will be carried across in the association with the component. So in your case, you will need to set up hidden products for shoes, bow tie and nose and then associate your components with these products to carry across their weight properties.
