Login for developers

Is it possible to switch off the client login for developers version of a catalogue site?

i.e. I don't want the login button to appear

If you go to View | Business Settings, there is a set of options at the bottom of the ordering tab, one of these is 'Allows orders from registered customers', unchecking this should remove the login facility.
