import snapshot

I have just installed act cato onto my laptop (i have version on static pc), i want to import all the info i have onto my laptop.
I imported a saved snapshot file and all is fine apart from i have no pictures of the items.

Is there an easy way of importing all the info (pis n all) onto my laptop?

The snapshot doesn't carry the images, so you have to copy those into the Site1 directory, independently of the snapshot.

You do it the same way as you got the snapshot from your backup folder on the PC to the laptop, on CD/Zip/floppy(ies) or over a network if that's how you did it before. Copy the images from the Site1 folder on the PC to the Site1 folder on the laptop.

Where do you browse to when you add an image, e.g. the image "cclown.jpg" in the product "Colourfull Jumpsuit And Hat"? That's where your images will be.

BTW, there's only one 'l' in colourful :)

All the images are on my desktop in a folder named catolouge.

I have placed this folder onto the desktop of my laptop but still no joy?

When i right click properties on the image it says they are in that folder?

Look in a product within Actinic. Where is Actinic looking for the images?

You will probably still have in that field the file path to the 'Desktop\Catalogue' folder on your old PC. That path will no longer work on your new PC because your NT profile name will be different. You will need to change all your image paths to point to the 'Desktop\Catalogue' folder on your new computer.

BTW, all the images do get included within the snapshot. You will find them within a folder called 'NOT_CATALOG' within the 'Site1' folder on the PC that you imported the snapshot into.
