Table in Top Shop?

I want to add a table to the top main page only of the shop on my site, I know how to create the table and could do it from within the programme itself using html, if I knew which file to change, or I can use Front Page to change either the shop.html, or, p_shop.html, am not sure which/or whether it should be both, however, whenever I open them in Front Page I get an error message and I don't want to mess up what I've done so far.

I'm using Theme 13

I would appreciate some guidance on this please if there's anyone out there who can help. :confused:

do you mean the catalog index page or the root index page
?

if its the root index page, ie brochure page then you could create all of your html in a front page file and then copy and paste the html into a brochure fragment

It is the catalog index page, the first page of the shop...you can't create brochure fragments there.

Edit the template in your Site1 folder called 'Act_CatalogBody.html'. That template controls the main bit of the front page of the store.
