Combination Pricing

I've tied myself in knots trying to achieve this. The answer may be fundamentally easy or not possible at all, any help would be fantastic.

We have a single product (and if possible we would like to keep as one product) that has a number of variables.

They come in a number of sizes, and each size can be bought in a number of pack sizes.

The crunch is, that the prices for all combinations are different and none of this is dependent on quantity purchased (minimum orders).

After looking at the many posts on component pricing I still can't seem to solve the problem and work out a combination of component, attribute, hidden product etc.

Like I say, probably very easy to sort - would love it if someone could call me a numbskull and give me the solution in a single line ;)

Isn't it just a case of enter a component with an attribute for quantity with the appropriate choices, an attribute for age with the appropriate choices, then go to the component details dialog, select the permutations tab, click on fill list to get all of the combinations, choose override pricing and fill in the appropriate amounts in the pricing field (you also have to make sure that the product's pricing model is set to component pricing).

You could use Normans NorMap to display the pricing matrix to the buyer. (http://www.rouxel.cwc.net/actinicstuff.html) if you wanted to be clever.
