Alternative product

Some of my products come either in boxes or bags, identical products, but different barcodes and product numbers.

Is there any way for the EPOS system to acknowledge an alternative product if one is out of stock?

You can setup linked products in the product screen so if one is out of stock the staff can select another similar product on screen - hope this helps
