Hi,
I'm a newb to this so please bear with me.
A client of mine uses actinic business v7 and wants his site updated but wants to keep using his actinic database. Just wondered how I would go about integrating this into html and css, if possible? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks greatly

what features is `your client expecting to keep when he says he wants to keep the actinic db only?
i assume they need the functionality of the checkout too.
if your client wants to be able to create a better design and finds v7 to restrictive then as jules says upgrade to v9.
you can download a 30 day trial from actinic

thanks for the quick replies.
what i think i should've said is that i have no experience or knowledge of actinic or how it works, and would like to know how i would go about making a website in html/css that utilises my clients actinic catalogue.
i do not have a copy of actinic software, so don't really know where to start.
hope this clears things up a bit.
many thanks

Best place to start is to download a 30 day demo from the Actinic site and take a read of the getting started guide.

Get the coffee on and read the manual or subcontract the work. Warning v7 is now well out of date and not supported.

again, thanks for the replies.
having read though a lot of pdfs about actinic. i have one last question;
is it possible to update the design of a site that uses actinic v7 business without having the actinic software installed? through dreamweaver?

Short answer, no - you will need Actinic installed to see the results of the changes.

you need to bear in mind is it advisable to do your html/css from within actinic and not the otherway around.
try to persaude your client to invest in v9 as v7 is not supported, download v9 and try it out. there is a`dreamweaver interface
