Gaps on side yahoo style nav help

hi all,

not been here in a while....

Just need a little help, if you look at www(dot)bosslighting(dot)co.uk

You will see on the left hand nav under GHL Profilux aquarium product there are spaces between the sub categories.

What have a done wrong and how do i fix it ?

There are breaks (<br/>) after the offending links:

<font color="#000000">GHL ProfiLux Dimmable LED Lights<br/></font>

That do not appear after most sections:

<font color="#000000">GHL ProfiLux View II</font>

Have you done anything with the Top Level Section List Layout? Or do the breaks correspond with different parent sections?

im not even sure what im looking for, I just know they should be all close together

Maybe ive done "add sub-section" instead of "add section" ??????

Would this cause this issue, not sure how to resolve that other than rebuild the entire section

Have they ever been close together? Or have they always been like this?

Have you edit any layouts recently?

Ive been editing...

I'm trying to re-do the offending lines into sections instead of sub-section to see if it bunches them up together

I think, the links displaying a gap beneath them have subsections, but the links that don't display a gap have products beneath, is that right?

lots of the sections have sub-sections but they dont have the gap, so cant be that
