Re-enable design changes option

We have a snapshot of a customers site which we would like to alter however the design option was restricted by removing the Design Changes option when it was deployed. We've tried getting the snapshot by various means - file then import, snapshot then import site and re-enabling the design option but it hasn't worked.

Does anyone have any ideas how to switch the design option back on?

Hi Victoria

First try ticking the Design Changes checkbox in Business Settings | Options. If that is greyed out then you will have to manually edit the registry.

Open the registry and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Actinic\Catalog6\Sites\[Site Name]. In this folder you should have a string value called 'DesignChanges' with a value of N. Right-click DesignChanges and modify this to Y and close the registry. If DesignChanges is not there, right-click and create a new string value with the settings above.
