Jonty, up for the challenge this year?

Your effort last year was a little GladstoneSmallEsque whereas mine was clearly a snowlady of beauty.

I am about to go start this year's offering, it will probably scare the begeebers out of Travis, but alas this may not happen too many times in the future.

Are you up for best snowman of 2009 challenge?

Anyone else welcome to post pictures too.....cu soon.

The gauntlet has been laid.

Just hope there is some snow left by the time get back home otherwise will have to photoshop what it would have looked like :)

GladstoneSmallEsque

Snow was in short supply so had to sacrifice some bodily parts :)

Well i have her body sorted, used all the snow within a 30 yard radius and now have a hernia having moved it back into position. Blizzard just started, and the rum and coke was calling me to warm up, so the head will be built once the next layer of snow is available. Over to you Jonty.

I have the plan sketched on paper ... just scanned and converting into vector art so can add the fine details. You can't rush these things you know.

I've entered into the spirit of things by offering a snowman suitable for everyone

I put the sign up at home this morning, but as many of the neighbours are pensioners, not sure if anyone is going to take me up on the offer.

kev (Nottingham, 75mm of snow and growing as we speak)

Got fed up in the cold so youngest could only manage this one. The odd looking round indentation was an apple. Now being consumed by wary blackbird.

I have my chainsaw primed for the arms on mine, it took 3 guys to roll back the body onto the lawn, twigs just aren't gonna cut it.

Why is snow so darn heavy.

My God it really is slamming down here now, woot for the snow, road will be a no-go very shortly.

Must have taken ages Jules - I like your little one's orange hat. Be careful it doesn't fall on top of him/her!!

PMSL, classic. I did notice the little fella, but couldn't think of anything funny. Nice one.

Here he is, looking rather European, even if I say so myself. He has no mouth as I had no idea what to use. He is definitely male this time though, couldn't be female, his mouth is firmly shut.
