Is there a way to change the layout of the invoice that Actinic produces??

Yes but you will need to contact Duncan or Jan to do it for you at a small price. Unless you know crystal reports and have version 8.5 to hand.

You can only change the reports using CR8.5. Jan and I both offer this type of service for a fee.

OK thanks - I would simply like the VAT line quoted after the subtotal and before the postage line - what sort of fee does that involve?

Whilst Duncan's service comes highly recommended, (having used it myself) please beware/be sure what you are asking for.....

The fee for postage, carriage, etc. is a 'provision of a service' that attracts VAT - if you are VAT registered it should be above the line, and you should account for the tax.

This is why the standard report appears as it does - it is a myth that people think that because postage stamps are VAT exempt, charging for their use is too - but it isn't.

(PS same applies to Bank Charges, if you pass these on).
