Hello,

Can I have some honest feedback on my new flower site please... obviously any orders for Valentines Day would be great too!!!

Any strange browser bugs and hints on things to update would be so gratefully received so please dont be shy!

You have a verisign logo but no ssl cert is showing? is this real? if not remove it.

If I see an SSL cert on a site but when i click or hover on it nothing comes up to confirm its true, I will not buy. If it is legit, then get the code from verisign pasted into your site.

I may be a bit thick but if Im ordering from a valentines day site then is it not obvious when I need it delivered? - so why do I need to check if my delivery date is available:confused:

having just ordered a dozen roses from interflofa this morining I know I can get them for £35 inc delivery - you are charging £59 plus delivery. When I read your delivery page I see that you deliver via Interflora so you are getting them to drop ship. Sooooo why would I order from you

It's a nice gadget though Mal :D

I think you should have marketed this site for roses rather than valentines day. If you get the SEO right I'm sure you'll do great early Feb, but what about the rest of the year?

Your large links to products say things like £19 or £75 but they're actually 19.99 or 75.99. You have a great page on delivery but do not mention the £6.00 it's going to cost.

Also, you have no address or phone number that I can see and your Ts and Cs can only be read at checkout where you talk about encrypting and downloading customer details - PCI DSS???

Contact Us - we will do our best to answer in 48hrs

I expect an answer within 4.8 minutes especially if its a time sensitive evemt like this. So if I send you an email now you will answer me after Valentines day 2009 so I need to be planning for 2010:D

With no contact addy you will be lucky to get any orders IMO

True BUT totally useless on this site IMO and on most - why should I have to check if the site owner can be bothered to deliver to me

This is why I feel it should be a roses site, rather than valentines day specific. If you landed on the site in March, some people, without even drilling down may think that they only cater for valentines day orders.

I thought the same so add my vote to webD's excellent suggestion.

Even weirder that their post count is 0. Probably Mr Constable spamming yet again, then again maybe not, it does seem to be an actinic site this time.

Ain't this a bit of a late launch considering there's only one full business day left before Valentines Day?

FTR, your 'Extra Info' links aren't set up on your product page. Clicking the product image should bring up the pop-up for a larger image - it doesn't, your product images link directly to the image location. Bad idea.

The delivery date and the home page best sellers are pretty nifty features.

You're also using the same Page Title near-enough Sitewide.

Colours are also too dark IMO.

You checkout says its secure BUT its not.

Also more worrying is the fact that you have links to this site http://www.chewbz.com/ in the actinic payment page:eek:

I have used them a few times and never had any problems, it was a bit of a trial, they did orchids for 9.99 so thought what the heck, easy for me and a supprise for the wife. She likes the idea of someone knocking on the door with them. I have ordered the 19.99 ones so we will see.
