Hi all I have a few questions about actinic hopefully you cal help me with. First, I uunderstand that there is a dreamweaver plugin that allows you to work in DW and get export back to actinic. How do you get this extension. I have just downloaded the demo version os the developer edition and do not see the dreamweaver extension in any of the software included with the download. Second, I have several site templates that I have built already. Is there a way to be able to use them in actinic without having to totaly rebuild them on one of the included default templates? Thanks.

DW exts come on the CD although maybe someone has a link to a downloadable copy of it.
As far as simple import/export is concerned, this is not quite how it works, as the templates are still snippets of what a page may use to create a complete online page, so not quite yet a simple case of creating a fantastic site design with a WYSIWYG editor and then clicking a magic button for it to import into the Actinic template system, and as such depending on the design you have created will decide on how much manipulation you will need to do with cutting the bits up, i.e you will need to break your DW designed site up into the Actinic templates manually.
All the best...

Just my €0.02....
Dropping in an Actinic design is quite straight forward.
Design your template in your favourite apps (me - Fireworks and Dreamweaver)
Use one of the simple / basic templates in Actinic as a start.
Slice and dice your design (remembering to leave at least 500x500 for the cart)
Drop the elements into the existing Act_Primary and fingers crossed off you go.
Seriously, I wonder if there is any mileage in creating an Actinic template site???
Good luck

Thanks
I meant FREE templates so that people can see whats possible, play with them and deconstruct so that they can learn whats possible.
Of course it would then lead onto PREMIUM templates for a small fee :D

I have though along those lines but dont have the resouces to complete a site on my own.
I would like to offer Tutorials and walk throughs but need to see some business return and get some content providers to help before I could take this any further.
Any Offers of help would be appreciated
