View Full Version : Importing products from Actinic Business Plus

Hello,

Last Tuesday we had Actinic Epos added to our network and imported the contents of our Business Plus website. All seemed fine and we were delighted with our new purchase and started adding barcodes to the products in the till.

Next time we transferred products from ecommerce though it duplicated what we already had as it appeared that the two systems could not recognise the existing products.

We also noticed that some products include Vat and others do not, rendering our till useless. Actinic support have requested a snapshot of the ecommerce site, has anybody else come across this?

We enter our website prices excluding Vat, but this did not affect the till on installation last Tuesday.

Hello again,

We are now getting the following error message on the screen of our Epos system.

Microsoft Access – 2147417848

Automation Error

The object invoked has disconnected from it’s clients.

This a new one for us, what does it mean and is it relevant to our situation?

Now products in EPOS are not being updated when changed in our ecommerce software.

Stock control is working fine though!

At least we have not paid for it...

This has now been resolved. A selection of settings needed amending within Ecommerce Actinic EposLink\Configuration\Transfer Product Data to Actinic Epos\General –
Transfer Deletions (untick) and selected ‘Overwrite Epos Products’ ticked. Full backups were taken before changes applied.

We are now extremely happy with our Actinic EPOS set up and are already seeing the benefits from linking with our Business Plus Ecommerce platform.
