1and1 shared server down

Anyone who's on Bus Pro with 1and 1 should check their site is still live. Ours went down about 30 mins ago. 1and1 "investigating". No timeframe for restoration :(

Different server I guess. Am giving them another hour and then will phone bash again.

Normal service resumed after about 2 hours. Not too bad and could have been at a far worse time in terms of taking orders.

I moved from Business to Business Pro a few weeks ago and last Sunday the server went down sometime between 2 & 3pm. At 9pm it was still down so I phoned them. At 1130pm it was still down but was back up the following morning. Can't say I was over impressed as Sunday's is when a good chunk of our orders come in. It certainly exceeded their "guaranteed 99.99% up-time" assuming it is based over 1 year as that is only 52 minutes!

I believe you can request compensation from 1and1 if you can be bothered.
