Hi All

I have contacted my ISP about this but as it seems to be a problem with a cgi script. I thought I would forward this to see if anyone has any advice....

I am having problems when trying to place an order in test mode using shared ssl.

I have entered https://clarahost.clara.net/www.exeter-www-shop.co.uk/
into the "unlisted providers" dialogue box in the security settings of Actinic - all runs ok until I go into the secure page where I receive an error message..

http://clarahost.clara.net:8080/error.perl?e=BAD_PATH_TRANSLATED&m=.perl&p=/data/web/_e/_x/_e/exeter-www-shop.co.uk/public/www//sp000001.pl

any advice?

cheers

Hi Kevin

The SSL details needs to go into the network settings, not Shared SSL in configure method

I would suggest in clicking on Standard SSL or Unencrypted, click on ok, and tick in SSL, and select the radio button for Checkout stages and customer login

Once that has been done, simply go to "Advance | Network setup"

You will see two tabs, one for standard and the next for ssl.

I have attach a standard network settings for claranet which uses SSL, simply import this text file in your network settings and change where it says www.domainname.com and <website> to your own domain name. Also you will need to add your server host, username and password

Should work fine
