export csv data missing

hello,
i am exporting to a csv file. i wish to open this and change the product prices, resave and import back to catalog. However, when i export from catalog the resulting csv file contains little or no data. The file will open on excell office 2000 but data seems to be missing. any sugestions ?

Hi there,

As I understand if you carry out the following steps then you will be able to open the csv file with no problems.

In Actinic goto File | Export, click on next until you have chosen the appropriate data to export, then on the screen that appear with the browse button, (its easier to find the export file if placed on the desktop) make sure in the 'Type of file' has Text - Comma delimited selected and 'ANSI (windows) selected for character set.

hello,
its ok now, ramg support, i had some custom html code in a brochure page, actinic didnt like this, once we took out the custom html all was well, exported ok but i then had to paste back in the html, bit of a work around.
