I'm trying to do some very simple, or so I thought :o

I'm trying to use "sort ascending" for column A but either the sort doesnt take column B with it, or it sorts using column B - see attached.

Note: This list will be constantly added to and sorted into product ref numerical order.

Any ideas?

Are you highlighting both columns when applying the sort? Then go to Data -> Sort... and you should get options for which column to sort by.

Highlight the whole table, then choose DATA | SORT and choose your sorting options. You can also drag down (selecting) the whole of column A and then move the selection across to column B and click the normal A - Z sort button.
